Black Kettle will be performing at L.A.’s Hotel Café this Friday night, supporting one of the finest bands on the planet, The 88 (with whom I had the pleasure of working with again recently). If you haven’t yet checked out either one, this is your chance! The 88 hit the stage around 10pm, with Black Kettle to follow at 11:30pm. Check out the video for Black Kettle’s “The World Remained The Same,” and The 88’s “They Ought To See You Now,” below!
Boston’s I, Pistol recently released a video for their song “Never Coming Back.” It’s included on their new EP, “Trust,” which I had the pleasure of recording and mixing at Studio P. The video was featured recently on Boston Band Crush. And if you want to play along, you’ll be able to on the new Paper Jamz Pro guitar. It will be featured as one of the pre-loaded songs. Check it out below!
I recently had the pleasure of mixing the first in a series of songs for a very novel (and cool) project by incredibly talented electric violinist Jennifer Lynn. She’s creating a collection of rock and roll cover songs with her electric violin. And she’s enlisted some A-list help in the form of bassist Marty O’Brien and drummer Glen Sobel. When they combine powers, they’re known as The Violution. Their first single – a cover of The Foo Fighters’ “The Pretender” – is now available for purchase on iTunes. And you can watch the video right here!
